Name
The name of the incorporated association is the Melbourne Christian Aid Association (MCAA) Incorporated.
Purposes
The purpose of the Association is to provide its members and their immediate family members social support in times of grief.
Social support in time of grief

Means supportive actions given by the Association to the grieving family (upon a member’s or members’ death) that is experiencing grief and includes emotional support (being physically present and listening), Spiritual support (fellowshipping with the family through prayers and comforting and sharing of encouraging scriptures) and instrumental support (giving the family money equivalent to the standard amount, or if applicable, half of the standard amount and providing and serving free meals and refreshments to the family and their guests for three consecutive days from the day the family opens its doors to guests who visit them to pay their condolences). |
