Dear Members,
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who attended the Annual General Meeting of the Melbourne Christian Aid Association held on Saturday, 26 July 2025. Your presence, participation, and thoughtful contributions made the meeting a meaningful and productive gathering. We also appreciate the warm fellowship shared over the refreshments—thank you to everyone involved in preparing the event.
During the meeting, we confirmed the minutes of the previous meeting, presented key reports from the President, Committee, and Treasurer, and discussed important updates on how the Association is managed. A proposed special resolution was presented to update the membership and contribution structure. Members were asked to vote on key changes, including increasing the new member registration fee to $1,100 (effective January 2026), adjusting the monthly contribution to $35, and increasing the standard funeral assistance amount to $25,000. These changes aim to ensure the long-term sustainability and support capacity of the Association.
